Welcome to the Rotary Club Estoi Palace
International Amongst the 100,000 foreign nationals
resident in the Algarve, many have had Rotarian experience in their home
countries. Some would like to continue their Rotarian engagement but, because
of language barriers, feel uneasy about joining a local Portuguese Rotary
Club. There are also other expatriates without any
Rotarian background but with a strong desire to contribute to the local (and
wider) community. The Rotary Club Estoi Palace
International represents an opportunity for both groups of people. We meet over lunch every Tuesday at 13:00 at the
recently renovated Estoi Palace, which used to
belong to the Viscount of Estoi, José Francisco da
Silva, but is now the Pousada de Faro - Palácio de Estoi. Lunch
costs around €16.50 inclusive. Our meeting language is English.
Dress code is informal. We often have a guest speaker at each meeting
and a list of recent and planned speakers (and other events) can be found here. Rotarians and non-Rotarians are welcome to visit
us but please let us know in advance if you plan to do so. If you are interested in joining the club please contact us. A map and directions to the Estoi
